This seminar aims to provide detailed information on current aspects/questions/problems of European energy policy and its practical realisation in the member States. Based on facts, it will contribute to the participants' opinion formation.

The seminar contents feature as a priority questions of European strategies for the future of the energy sector and related consequences for companies, the environment and consumers. Other current energy policy controversies to be tackled include the dialogue on energy with the Russian Federation and national and European strategies, such as the emissions trade.
Reflection, through multinational teams, on key issues such as lifelong learning and intercultural competences will stimulate participants to reflect individually on their personal way (and career) forward within the European labour market.

The discussion of the lectures in international working groups, joint leisure activities and excursions to the region are both a personal challenge and enrichment. They also improve language skills and intercultural understanding.
