With its own channel "EUtube" on the video-portal "YouTube" the European Union is taking a new way to inform its citizens about Europe. 

With the motto "Sharing the sights and sounds of Europe" the European Union tries to use the same tools as the citizens, as mentioned by Mikolaj Dowgielewicz, speaker of the commissioner for inter institutional relations and communications.

The video "Let's come together" on European film funding already created headlines and discussions. The controversial video-clip is therefore the biggest blockbuster ever produced by the EU.
