Greeting by Mr. Ján Figel, Commissioner for Education and Culture of the European Union

Due to an unexpected change in his schedule, commissioner Figel was unfortunately not able to give his greeting live, instead his speech was presented by video. His message, addressed to the members of EUNET, highlighted the importance of intercultural dialogue for the living together in a united Europe. He encouraged the network members to continue their intercultural activities beyond the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008 and thanked them for their contribution for intercultural dialogue and an active European citizenship. |
