The International House Sonnenberg is the conference centre of the Sonnenberg-Kreis e.V., an independent provider of non-school based education in Europe, which is registered as an educational charity under German law. We organise conferences throughout the year, normally with participants from several countries. Thanks to our international network, we are an experienced partner for international projects.

We work primarily in the following areas: the securing of human rights, peace, solidarity and social responsibility.

We organise seminars and conferences with international, intercultural, socio-critical, political and ecological subjects for:

Additionally, we offer inservice training for teachers and multipliers, interdisciplinary specialist conferences on educational subjects, programmes within the system of Educational Leave, training in competence for Europe, conferences for people with disabilities, as well as leisure visits and seminars in other countries.

We are also happy to offer our rooms and services to conference organisers with their own programmes and leisure activities. We are equally happy to provide a tailor-made programme on request.
