The Annual Conference and General Assembly of EUNET 2017 will take place from
Thursday October 19th
to Sunday October 22nd 2017 in Budapest (Hungary).
Where?
Our conference venue is the Novotel Budapest Centrum in Budapest, which will accommodate us in single rooms, and most of the programme will take place there too.
A guided city tour of Budapest, in English, German and French will be organised for you.
How to get there?
The closest airport is of course Budapest airport. There are direct flights from all over Europe to Budapest. Main low cost carriers are Ryanair and WizzAir.
NB; On August 15th the German airline “AirBerlin” declared insolvency in self-government. The German state provided a loan of 150 million Euro to ensure that flight operations will continue for the next three months. Nevertheless there is no guarantee that this will work out.
If you have planned to travel to Budapest with AirBerlin, it’s strongly recommended that you check the availability of your flight regularly until the day of your departure, or try to look for a more reliable way of transport to get to Budapest.
If you haven’t made your travel plans yet, we recommend not to book a (code sharing) flight operated by AirBerlin.
Travel from the Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport to the hotel
